FARMING

Fruitways has five production units: Applegarth, Eikenhof, Glen Elgin, Graymead and Jackalriver. Combined, our production units span over 1300 hectares of apple and pear orchards in the Elgin and Vyeboom regions of the Western Cape.

We specialize in the production of apples and pears, producing both the tried and trusted varieties as well as constantly exploring new varieties. Our farming team is continuously working on improving the quality of fruit by adopting the latest technology and horticultural practices. A number of exciting new varieties are constantly being trialed in our research and development orchard on Graymead.
